Accommodations

Conference particpants have a number of accommodation options.

On-campus dormitory

Participants may choose to stay in an on-campus dormitory. Dorms are "suite" style. There is one person per room, but participants will share a bathroom with one other person (of the same gender). Dorm rooms are air conditioned and include a fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, pillow, towel, and washcloth. Items not included are hangers, ironing board, iron, fan, etc. Participants may register for a dorm room by selecting the "Full Workshop" or "Full Conference" option on the registration page. 

Sheraton Great Valley

The Sheraton Great Valley is the official hotel of the conference and will offer a discounted rate to conference attendees. Please mention the Poetry Conference when you make your reservation. The Sheraton is located at 707 E. Lancaster Ave., Frazer, PA 19355 (610-524-5500), approximately 12 minutes from campus. The Sheraton will run a shuttle to and from WCU during the conference.

Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast

Attendees may also enjoy staying at Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast located three blocks from Sykes Student Union. Please mention the Poetry Conference to receive a discounted rate. Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast is located at 699 W. Rosedale Avenue, West Chester, PA 19382

Warner Hotel

The Warner Hotel is the only hotel located in downtown West Chester. Shuttle service is available to and from campus. A limited number of rooms are available by calling 610-692-6920 and mentioning the West Chester University Poetry Conference.
